About The Saudi Federation of Sports Medicine
The Saudi Sports Medicine Federation is a national, multi-specialty non-profit organization that includes many professionals committed to working together to promote the health and activity of the Saudi community and to achieve safe sports practice.
Strategic Objectives:
- Serve as a distinguished educational and training reference for all specialists in the field of sports medicine and for all athletes and individuals interested in health and fitness issues.
- Encourage and develop sports medicine research and scholarships by providing opportunities for scholarships, financial support, cooperation, and partnerships.
- Support and enhance priority issues in the field of sports medicine that affect athletes and members of the Saudi Sports Medicine Federation.
- Support and encourage excellence in the care and safety of sports medicine patients, and ensure the provision of medical care that meets international standards for all sports practitioners, whether elite professional athletes or amateur practitioners, and enable each individual to return to sports practice after injury as soon and safely as possible.
- Build a vibrant and active Saudi community by providing consultation, information, and useful advice to enhance the health of the Saudi society and to create a safe sports environment.
- Provide medical consultation and professional assistance to all Saudi sports federations and clubs, especially players participating with national teams in all sports and across different age groups.
- Provide a suitable environment to enhance professional relationships among sports medicine specialists to develop the practice of sports medicine in all its various fields in the Kingdom through excellence in providing educational and research programs and supporting issues related to this profession.
- Assist in providing the necessary human and non-human resources, their recruitment, and optimal utilization to support the mission of the Saudi Sports Medicine Federation in achieving its goals.
- Establish and develop partnerships and relationships with governmental and private institutions and organizations to achieve mutual benefit in supporting the mission of the Saudi Sports Medicine Federation.
